The oldest Methodist building in the world, called The New Room founded by John Wesley in 1739. Over the chapel are the rooms where he lived when he was in Bristol and where his brother Charles lived for a year. They display many items of interest and the courtyards have statues of both John and Charles. Occasional services and recitals.

Admission is free.
Also tours of Charles Wesley's house by arrangement.

Open 10am to 4pm MOnday to Saturday and most Bank Holidays.
