The main claim to fame is the internationally renowned collection of furniture and silver, much of it made by Cotswold craftsmen, and inspired by the father of the Arts & Crafts Movement William Morris. Other strengths include material on the social history of Cheltenham, Britain's most complete Regency town, Oriental porcelain and English ceramics, fine paintings and changing special exhibitions throughout the year.

Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5.20pm. Closed Bank Holidays.
Admission is free but donations are welcome.
